(This video is of Devin and Brayden)
Brayden:
Angle 1:
-Is the ball brought straight up on the shooting hand side? No
-Are fingers elbow, knees, and toe in the same plane? Yes
-Do the shooting fingers finish pointing down towards your forward foot? Yes
-Does your elbow finish near or above your eyes? Yes
-Does the off hand come off the ball just before release? Yes
Angle 2:
-Is the wrist cocked before release? Yes
-Is the footwork consistent? Yes
-Is the ball kept in front of the body? Yes
-When the ball is released is the elbow near or above the eyes? Yes
Angle 3:
-Is the shooting hand directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the middle? Yes
-Is the off hand at 9 or 3 o'clock? Yes
-Is the ball released with one hand? Yes
-Is the off hand vertical at release? Or is it rotated towards the ball? What would this mean? It's vertical at release, this means I'm not shooting the ball with two hands.
The three most important things that need to improve on my shot are I need to bring the ball up on my shooting hand side and not from the middle, I have to release higher consistently so I'm not shooting from my waist like I do sometimes, I need to release the ball from the side of my body and not in front of my face.

Taylors Shot Analys

Taylors shot analysis write up
Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.
- Is the ball
brought straight up on the shooting hand side? yes
- Are finger,
elbow, knee and toe in the same plane? My fingers point off to the
side
- Do the
shooting fingers finish pointing down towards your forward foot? No,
my fingers go on an angle to the side when I finish
- Does your
elbow finish near or above your eyes? Near, yes
- Does the off- hand come of the ball just before release?
yes
Angle
2: Rear View- Camera is directly
behind shooter.
- Is the
shooting had directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the
middle? No, my fingers point off to the side
- Is the
off-hand at 9 or 3 o’clock? 9 o’clock
- Is the ball
released with one-hand? yes
- Is the off-hand vertical at release? Or is it rotated towards
the ball? What would this mean?
I do both. Sometimes it rotates towards the ball and others my
off-hand is vertical. When the off-hand is rotates towards the ball that
means you’re shooting with both hands.
Angle 3: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.
- Is the
wrist cocked before the release? slightly
- Is the
footwork consistant? yes
- Is the ball
kept in front of the body? yes
- When the ball is released are the elbows near or above the eyes? Near,
yes
3 things i need to improve is when i release the ball, to keep my fingers straight because it inflicts the direction my shot goes. also to make sure my off hand stays vertical and doesnt face the hoop. and rhe last thing is to make sue my stance is straight because if my dominant foot isnt straight with the foot than it can also inflict my shot.

Brandon's Shot Form
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNFN8WAFAA0&feature=youtu.be
Angle 1:
- The ball is mostly brought up on the shooting hand side, but it's also brought up a little in the middle of my body.
- Finger, toes and knee are all in line. But my elbow sticks outwards.
- Fingers do finish pointing downwards towards forward foot.
- Elbow finishes directly in front of eyes.
- The offhand doesn't come off the ball, it stays.
Angle 2:
- The shooting hand is directly behind the ball but instead of two fingers I used all four.
- Offhand at 9 o'clock.
- The ball is released with my right hand and my left thumb.
- Offhand is towards the ball, this means I shoot with two hands.
Angle 3:
- No my wrist is not cocked prior to releasing the ball.
- The footwork is consistent yes.
- Yes the ball is kept in front of my body.
- When the ball is released elbows are directly in front of eyes.
3 Conclusions:
- I should cock back my wrist prior to catching the ball.
- I should stop shooting with two hands.
- I should keep my elbow in at a 90 degree angle when I shoot.

Angle 1:
- I see that i don't bring the ball up on my shooting hand, i bring the ball upwards towards the middle or slightly left of me.
- My finger, elbow, knee are in the same plane but i realized that my left foot is a bit wider and slightly turned to the left.
- My shooting fingers are pointed down towards my forward foot.
- My elbow finishes above my eye at all times.
- The off hand comes off the ball as i release every time.
Angle 2:
- My shooting hand is directly behind the ball with my two shooting fingers.
- Yes the off hand is at 9 o'clock.
- The ball is released with one-hand.
- My off hand is vertical at the release because it lets me shoot with one hand instead of two.
Angle 3:
- My wrist is slightly cocked back before my release.
- My footwork is the same all the time but i need to move my left foot to the right slightly.
- Yes the ball is kept in front of my body.
- When I release, my elbow above is above my eye.

David.I: Shooting analysis
Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.
- The ball is brought up straight (middle) and the moved it o my shooting side (right)
- My off hand doesn't leave the ball in time thus altering my shot's path.
- My elbow finish near my eyes
Angle 2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.
- My shooting hand is directly behind the ball with my index finger predominantly in the middle.
- The ball seems to be released with 2 hands because my off-hand is getting off the ball in time.
Angle 3: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.
- My wrist are cocked back just before the release
- The ball is kept in front of my body constantly
- When the ball is released my elbows are near my eyes
Conclusion (key points of improvement)
Have less involvement from my non - shooting hand.
Better leg stance (not to wide or narrow)
Ball needs to leave my pointing and middle finger last

Angle 1: need to release the ball with motion.
Releasing the ball early, and not letting my right hand do all the work.
Angle 2: Keeping my balance when I do a pull-up jumper.
Make sure that it doesn't look like I'm shooting with two hands.
Angle 3: I must cock back my wrist and release my elbow above my eyes.
I need to keep my footwork consistent to have a bigger shot.
3 conclusion:
Having solid shot form is really what I need to improve on.
Releasing the ball with motion.
My footwork and releasing my elbows above my eyes and not shooting with my left hand.

Mikayla L. Shot Analysis 1
Angle 1:
In this shot, the ball is brought up straight on the shooting hand side, but my finger, elbow, knee, and toe are not all on the same plane. My elbow is 'chicken-winging' out, and my knee looks to be bending inwards a bit. My shooting fingers do point toward my foot upon finish. My elbow finishes close to my eyes, but it could be higher. It is hard to tell in the video, but I think that my off-hand needs to come off the ball a little sooner.
Angle 2:
The video is not the greatest quality, sorry, but I think my shooting hand is a bit off to the side. Being left-handed, by off-hand is at 3 o'clock. It looks like my off-hand was rotated a bit, that would cause the ball to be off balance because my other hand is pushing it.
Angle 3:
The footwork is indeed cocked before release, plus the footwork is consistent. The ball is also kept in front of my body. Since my head is pretty tilted, I am going to assume that my elbow is too low, as per usual.
Conclusion:
The three most important things that I need to improve are,
- A release with my elbow near/above my eye
- BALANCE, making sure my to be 'in line' for the shot
- The jump... I need to find a way to fix that. I jump forward on most shots, and that is a no-no.
