Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.

  • Is the ball brought straight up on the shooting hand side? The ball is brought not accurately straight up , it is a bit tilted.
  • Are finger, elbow, knee and toe in the same plane? yes, they are , as shown in the video
  • Do the shooting fingers finish pointing down towards your forward foot? yes, they are
  • Does your elbow finish near or above your eyes? No, my elbow is a bit tilted whenever I finish my shot
  • Does the off- hand come of the ball just before release? yes, they are

Angle 2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.
  • Is the shooting hand directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the middle? yes, they are
  • Is the off-hand at 9 or 3 o’clock? 9 o'clock? no but it is close
  • Is the ball released with one-hand? I would say that the ball is slightly released with one hand
  • Is the off-hand vertical at release?  Or is it rotated towards the ball? rotated  What would this mean? i'm not shooting properly

Angle 3: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.
  • Is the wrist cocked before the release? yes my wrist was cocked backed
  • Is the footwork consistant? no I need to work on having a consistent foot work
  • Is the ball kept in front of the body? yes the ball is kept in front of my body
  • When the ball is released are the elbows near or above the eyes? the ball is released near the eyes.

Conclusion: I need to work on my foot placement and to work on shooting with a straight form. By doing this I need to do a lot of form shooting and work on my follow through.

Angle 1:Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.

On my shot I released with one-hand, my off-hand was a little up in the begging. and I didn't use the two fingers in the middle. The problem in this shot was that my balance and my accuracy wasn't very good.

Angle 2: Straight on- Camera under basket.

On this shot my finger, elbow, knee and toe weren't in the same plane, my elbow finish near, my off- hand come of the ball just before release. The biggest problem with this shooting was the balance.

Angle 3:  Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.

On this shoot my the footwork was consistent, when the ball was released the elbows above the eyes. In this shooting the part that i have to improve is the balance.

Conclusion: I have to improve my balance, so consequently I will improve my accuracy. Also  I have to improve my position of the body and the hand on the ball and try to be more constant on my shots.

angle 1:
My wrist is cocked before I release the ball and
the ball is in front of my body the entire time,
when I release the ball my elbow is just under my eye level.

angle 2:
My hand is directly behind the ball with both shooting fingers in the middle of the ball,
my off-hand is at 3 o'clock on the ball and I release the ball with one hand.
My off-hand is vertical when I release the ball, this means that the ball is not being pushed to either side when shooting.

angle 3:
The ball is brought straight up by my arm goes off the the left a bit.
My fingers, elbow, knee and toes are all in line when i'm shooting but
my middle finger points to my feet but my pointer finger points up to the hoop
and my elbow finishes above my eyes and my off-hand comes off the ball just before release.

Conclusion:
i need to work on footwork, shooting straight while adding backspin, and getting my shooting fingers to point down after i shoot.

Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.

  • Is the ball brought straight up on the shooting hand side? No because i use my support hand to bring it up to shoot not my shooting hand.
  • Are finger, elbow, knee and toe in the same plane? Yes but most of time my elbow isn't align to my knee.
  • Do the shooting fingers finish pointing down towards your forward foot?Yes thats when i know its not going in when the tip of my fingers isn't straight to the basket.
  • Does your elbow finish near or above your eyes? Yes but sometimes when I think its not going in, my shooting arm goes down by itself.
  • Does the off- hand come of the ball just before release? Yes for most of the time
Angle 2:Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.

  • Is the shooting hand directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the middle? No my shooting hand goes mostly on the right side of the ball
  • Is the off-hand at 9 or 3 o’clock? 9 o'clock
  • Is the ball released with one-hand? Yes everything is good with me releasing the ball with one hand.
  • Is the off-hand vertical at release?  Or is it rotated towards the ball?  What would this mean? Yes, it is most of the time when I'm shooting.

Angle 3:Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.
  • Is the wrist cocked before the release? Yes
  • Is the footwork consistent? Yes Ive been told to work on my footwork so it is finally coming out.
  • Is the ball kept in front of the body? Yes, most of the time
  • When the ball is released are the elbows near or above the eyes? Yes but when my arm gets tired it doesnt have any arc to go in the basket.

Conclusion: I think i need to put more "arc" on the ball when I'm shooting a basketball. I need to release my support hand on the ball, way before I shoot the ball.

Shot Analysis:

Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket

On this shot the ball was brought straight up on the shooting hand side and my finger, elbow, knee and toe are almost in the same plane. My elbow finished near my eyes but the off-hand came of the ball after release.

Angle 2: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side

On this shot my elbows are near the eyes but my footwork was not consistent.

Angle 3: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter

On this shot the shooting had directly behind the ball with the two fingers in the middle. The ball was not released with one-hand and the off-hand rotated towards the ball.

Conclusion:

I have to improve my footwork, shoot the ball with only one-hand by taking the off-hand of the ball after release. Another thing I have to improve is to keep the off-hand vertical at release.
