MICHAEL MOUANGXONG SHOT ANALYSIS

Angle - The ball is brought straight up in this shot. My arm isn’t really following my shot, I like my focus in my shot, the focus would help in real game situations. If you look closely, you can see my off hand just before the release. Having your off hand on while releasing will cause the ball to shift in another direction. Also my fingers are pointing straight down, except for my pinky finger. I find it helps me when it’s out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIgoDR6bnGk&feature=youtu.be

Angle #2 - In my second shot, I noticed that my off hand did not go away from the ball which means that I’m not shooting properly. And my shooting arm does not go up straight it goes a little tilted, I think this is because I use more of my arms than legs so I rely more on the strength of my arms than my wrist.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rM3tCJr4Yg8

ANGLE #3 - As I grab the ball to rise for my shot, My feet consistently land with my right foot in front of the other. The ball is always kept in front of my body and when I release the ball, my right elbow seems to be pushing the ball, rather than my legs. I need to improve my pre-shot steps, instead of just grabbing the ball, I should be set with my legs bent and my wrists cocked to get the most efficient release possible. Again, I need to finish my elbow above my eyes for better overall ark on my shot and follow through with my shot, my shot is pretty broken.
                       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXUYFW2cMGc&feature=youtu.be

Things that need to be improved:
- Following through with my shot
- using more of my legs instead of my arms
- making sure my arm isn’t tilted during the shot
- legs more bent shot looking more stable.

TOM'S SHOOTING ANALYSIS

Angle 1: Straight On - Camera under Basket

FROM THIS FOOTAGE, I BROUGHT THE BALL FROM MY LEFT SIDE TO MY RIGHT SIDE IN A CIRCLE MOTION, MY KNEES THEN BEND INWARDS SO I M ABLE TO PROVIDE ENOUGH ARC, THAT MY SHOT GOES IN. AFTERWARDS I RAISE MY BODY FROM MY TOES TO PROVIDE ENOUGH POWER FOR MY SHOT. AFTER THE BALL IS BROUGHT TO MY FOREHEAD I THEN TAKE MY GUIDE HAND AND PLACE IT OFF TO THE SIDE, SO ITS JUST MY GUIDE HAND, THEN BALL IS REALSED.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpenrljIlOI

PROBLEMS - WRIST IS CURLED IN, GUIDE HAND IS AT A 10 O'CLOCK ANGLE, WRIST FLICK IS NOT SMOOTH

Angle 2: Rear View - Video Shot Behind The Shooter

FROM THIS FOOTAGE, THE BALL IS STILL BROUGHT FROM THE LEFT SIDE TO THE BALL SIDE, THEN I BEND DOWN AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE, AS I BRING THE BALL UP WARDS TO THE MIDDLE OF MY FOREHEAD I NOTICE MY ELBOW TEND TO SHIFT TO MY RIGHT SIDE, LASTLY AFTER THE BALL REACHES MY FOREHEAD I THEN RELEASE THE BALL.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pccer1BNg7Y

PROBLEMS- AFTER BALL IS RELEASED GUIDE HAND THUMB TEND TO CURL IN AFTER SHOT IS FIRED, SHOT IS FIRED FOLLOW THROUGH HAND IS CURLED IN, ELBOW IS NOT STRAIGHT.

Angle 3: Side View - Camera On Shooting Hand

FROM THIS FOOTAGE, BALL IS FLICKED FORWARD AND PLAYER IS TO GRAB THE BALL AND SHOOT RIGHT AWAY, IN THIS FOOTAGE YOU WILL SEE ME SHOOT AT
MY RIGHT SIDE. RIGHT AWAY I CATCH THE BALL, I GET IN MY SHOOING STANCE AND I REALESE TE BALL.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B2_DOiTib60

PROBLEM- ARMS ARE NOT EXTENDED TO FULL REACH, WRIST IS CURLED IN

CONCLUSION

OVERALL I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT MY SHOT NEEDS TO DEVELOPE IS A SMOOTHER 1 MOTION SHOT AND I NEED TO DEVELOPE A BETTER WRIST FLEX, THE BALL SHOULD BE COMING OF THE MIDDLE FINGER BUT INSTEAD IT COMES OF THE RING FINGER.

Tonny shot analysis

Kelley Stevenson Shot Analysis 2017

ANGLE 1                            Straight on Camera under the basket

In the first angle my finger, elbow, knee and toe are in the same plane.
My fingers don't really point towards my toes. My elbow finishes above my eyes. my
off hand comes off the ball just as I release the ball.

ANGLE 2                           Rear View Camera behind Shooter

My hand is more under the ball than behind the ball but the shooting fingers are in the middle.
My hand is at the 9 o’clock. The ball is released with one hand. My off hand is vertical at release.

ANGLE 3                         Side View Camera on Shooting Hand Side

My wrist is cocked before release. My footwork is consistent. The ball is kept in front of my body.
When the ball is released my elbow shooting elbow is above my eye while the other one is near my eye.

Conclusion
In conclusion my shot was alright but there were something I could improve on. 1.my fingers don't really point towards my toes so I would like to improve on that. 2. my feet aren't really squared up towards the basket so I would also like to improve on that. 3. I would like to improve on my vert because its not really that good.

Rhofert's Shot Analysis

Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.

Is the ball brought straight up on the shooting hand side? Yes, I find it more comfortable if I bring the ball up with my left hand instead of bringing it up with my shooting hand.
Are finger, elbow, knee and toe in the same plane?
Yes, all of them seem to be in line after i shot the ball but my right knee was sort of pushed in and not really lined up with my finger, elbow and toe.
Do the shooting fingers finish pointing down towards your forward foot?
Yes, I could see my pointer finger and my middle finger pointing downwards to my toe.
Does your elbow finish near or above your eyes?
Yes, it was hard to see on the video but when i shoot i usually end up having my elbow around my eye level.
Does the off- hand come of the ball just before release?
Yes, my off-hand comes off just on the right time before i release the ball.

Angle 2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.
Is the shooting had directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the middle? Yes, but at some time i tend to put my shooting hand on the right side of the ball let my the ball slide to the correct spot before shooting.
Is the off-hand at 9 or 3 o’clock? No, my support hand stay where it is when starting to let the ball go and after the ball goes out of my hands.
Is the ball released with one-hand? Yes, if not the ball would not be going straight to where i want it to go.
Is the off-hand vertical at release?  Or is it rotated towards the ball?  What would this mean? My support hand is vertical at release, it either means that i'm releasing my support hand too early or just right on the money.

Angle 3: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.
Is the wrist cocked before the release?
Yes, my shooting hand was right underneath the ball before i released the ball.
Is the footwork consistant? Yes, it didn't really show on the video but its usually consistent
Is the ball kept in front of the body? Yes, sometimes the ball is way too close to my head when going up to for my shot.
When the ball is released are the elbows near or above the eyes? Yes, my elbow is just right on my eye level when shooting.

Conclusion:
Overall, i think my shot is good. I just need to improve my timing on my jumpers because i tend to jump and release the ball on my way down and not when i'm going up with my jump. I also need to improve on little things such as which finger the ball is released on. That's the only reason why my shot is 'broken' as of right now.

Gio Shot Analysis

GIO SHOT ANALYSIS

Angle 1: Straight-on camera under basket

  • Is the ball brought up straight on the shooting hand side?

The ball is brought up straight but as soon as i follow through, it points away from the basket               instead of towards it.
  • Are the finger, elbow, knee and toe on the same plane?

My fingers, elbows, knees, and toes are aligned when I shoot, some things that I can fix are                  releasing my shot in between my pointer and middle finger so that my shot will get a perfect                rotation instead of spinning sideways like it is in this video.
  • Do the fingers point to your foot after your shot?
My fingers weren't pointing towards the ground in my follow through which i need to work on            because in this video, my fingers were pointing towards under the net.
  • Does my elbow finish above or around my eyes?
After shooting my shooting elbow is right on my eye but I tend to lean back in this video which          made my elbow go right below my eyes.
  • Does the off hand come off the ball just before the release?
My offhand comes off barely just before I shoot, I need to release my off hand earlier so that it           doesn't interfere with my shooting accuracy.

            Angle 2:  Rear-View camera

  • Is the shooting hand directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the middle?
My shooting hand is directly behind the ball but is angled to my off hand instead of being                    straight, when i release the ball, it looks like my shooting fingers are in between the ball in this            video but I feel that it is not which i need to get more efficient with.
  • Is the off hand at 9 or 3 o'clock?
My offhand finishes pointing to the ceiling therefore it is a 9 o'clock, in this video it looks like I           am using my off thumb to help me shoot but I don't use it anymore.
  • Is the ball released with one hand?
The ball is being released only with my shooting hand but when I remove my off hand when I             do form shooting, it feels like I have less control.
  • Is the off hand at vertical or rotated towards the ball when released?
The off hand is vertical pointing towards the ceiling which means that i let go off the ball and              relax my off hand after.

                Angle 3: Side view

  • Is the wrist cocked before the release?
My wrist is cocked before the release but in this video, I had a two motion shot which caused               my shot to be slow and my wrist to be cocked late instead of having it cocked back all ready to           go.
  • Is the footwork consistent?
My footwork is consistent but I can also catch and shoot off two feet or a 1-2 step but I feel                 more comfortable catching a ball off a 1-2 step which means that i need to work on my two feet           catch and shooting so that I could be more consistent with both methods.
  • Is the ball in front of the body the whole time?
The ball is in front of my body but in this video, right before I release my shot, I put the ball               above my forehead which caused the ball to not be in front of me the whole time.
  • When the ball is released, is it above or near the eyes?
From this angle, my shooting elbow was right on my eyes.

              Conclusion
Overall, I think that my shot is pretty normal (Squared, off hand goes off before release, shooting with one hand, shooting hand aligned with hip and following through), I think that i need to be more consistent because my shot doesn't always look the same so I need to work on that and also having a quicker release because I am small which means i need to shoot faster so I won't get blocked in a game another thing that i need to work on is the ball rotation, the backspin on my shot is very inconsistent and I think is the main reason that causes me to miss most of my shots.

{.2}
when shooting my two fingers are always in the middle of the ball and as for

before releasing the ball my wrist is not cocked. my footwork needs work i need
balance as for were the ball is kept at its in front of the body the ball is above my

Tavians shot analysis 2017

Tavian's Shot Analysis 2017

Angle 1 (Side angle):
Angle one was the angle from the side of me stepping into a pass and shooting from the foul line. As we can see that I step in with a one two step as i catch the ball me wrist is not cocked back until the very end of my shot. This is a thing I must focus on to improve my shot. I feel like I have pretty good fluidity throughout the shot follow through is good releasing the ball from the right side of my head.

Angle 2 (Camera under basket facing straight on):
Angle 2 shows a lot about my shot. From this angle we see that I release the ball to the right of my body the problem with this is that my elbow is flaring out from under the ball. I feel my release is fine its a pretty high release as well legs slightly bend to the left. My off hand is released from the ball as I go up which was a huge problem I had in the past.

Angle 3 (Camera Behind):
Angle 3 helps us see that I release my off hand off the ball before I shoot. It also shows the cock back of my wrist at the last stages of my shot which is something again I must fix. We can also see my elbow pushing out of line then quickly shifting back into line for the follow through. Again follow through seems good as wrist hangs loose after ball is released.

Things I Need To Work On To Become A Better Shooter:
- Catching the ball or beginning my shot with my wrist cocked back to be more efficient
- Keeping my Elbow in line with my body for better accuracy
- Using my of my butt in my shot to get more power for my shot instead of angling my legs
-  Possibly take my off hand off the ball earlier so that its more clear that there is no interference with my off hand

Tyler's Shot Analysis

Shot #1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfjWM3cR7L4

The ball is brought straight up in this shot. I do have a bit of a dip, but it is comfortable for me. I fyou look closely, you can see my off hand just before the release. Having your off hand on while releasing will cause the ball to shift in another direction. Also my fingers are pointing straight down, except for my pinky finger. I find it helps me when its out.

Shot #2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMVY94905e0

As you can see my hand is directly behind the ball. My off hand is 9 o clock, and i find it helps with my shot. The ball is definitely released with one hand.

Shot #3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDB5DlWz5Ek

In my final shot, my wrist is cocked back before my release. My footwork stays consistent throughout all three of my shots and my release is consistent as well. The ball is usually released a bit above eye level.

Alvaro's shot analysis

Angle 1:
My wrist is cocked as I release the ball.
My elbow does not end in the right height (at my eyes level).
I honestly don't know what I did with my left arm.
I need to release the ball more towards up and less towards front.
My elbow needs to finish in my eyes level.
I need to give more back spin to the ball.
I was probably shooting with two hands.

Angle 2:
Is not possible to see if my hand is directly behind the ball in the video.
My Off-hand is at 9 o'clock.
The ball is released with two hands (unfortunately).
My Off-hand is rotated towards at the ball at the moment of release, that means that I'm shooting with two hands.

Angle 3:
My wrist is cocked before the release.
My footwork is not constant.
The ball is kept in front of the body.
When the ball is released my elbow is not above or near to my eyes.

Conclusion:
First of all, I should stop shooting with two hands, so I can have more precision in my shots. Also, I should start to end my elbow in the same line that my eyes are, so I can have a bigger arch. I should try to improve my footwork too, and finally, my wrist should be cocked at the release of the ball.

Alberto shot analysis

Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket
In this angle we can see that the ball is placed directly in the shooting hand, the elbow, the knee and the foot are in the same plane but the finger is not. The fingers end up pointing at the adved foot, the elbow ends above my eyes. Also the shooter is pulling with two hands.

Angle 2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter
In this angle we can see that the hand is not behind the ball but it is down, also after throwing the ball the left hand stays at 3 o'clock. The vertical hand is rotated in the lance so the player throws the ball with two hands.

Angle 3: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side
In this angle we can see that the wrist is not ready before the launch, and also the footwork is not very constant. The prelude is always kept in front of the player's body, and when the player releases the ball the elbows are close to the eyes but not above.

Conclusion:
I have to improve the mechanics of shooting to shoot better because I shoot with two hands and I have to leave the arm raised after shooting. I also have to have the wrist cocked before launching.

Daylon's Shot analysis

Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.
The ball is held in front of the face, right hand is place behind the ball.
Finger and knee aren’t in line. Elbow finishes at nose level making a straighter shot at the basket. Off- hand releases ball before shot, but too early causing a one handed shot.

Angle 2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter
Shooting hand placed behind the ball pointer and  middle finger placed slightly to the left of center. Off hand found at 7:30- 8:00, ball is slightly pushed with off- hand. Release hand after shot pushes to the left side of the body, causing the shot to spin vertically shortening shot radius.

Angle 3: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.

The wrist is at a 130 degree angle during the shot, footwork during the shots are inconsistent body doesn’t not look completely balanced. The ball is left in front of the body but is held to lower, when shot is released with right arm it follows through at a 120 degree angle. When the ball is released it is released from the chest area.

Conclusion:
Over all I have to work on my form to achieve a better shot. Working on my release point with how I hold the ball before shooting is something that has to be changed first along with I also need to work on being balanced while shooting. I use my arms to shoot so I need to learn to use more legs.

Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under basket.

On the shot the ball is brought up on my shooting side with one hand. My two shooting fingers kind of went off to the right after the release of the ball, messing up the follow through and causing the ball to not go straight. I released the ball at the right time but i need to work on finishing higher and bringing it up more on the side parallel with my shooting shoulder and knee instead of bringing it to my face.

Angle 2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.

The shooting hand is directly behind the ball in this angle and release just at the right time. i have my off hand in the right spot on the ball, on the side so it doesn't interfere with the ball but kind of guides it. I release the ball with just the shooting hand but I need to work on finishing higher and with my follow through towards the rim.

Angle 3: Side View- Camera on shooting hand side.

In this final angle my wrist is cocked but not early enough causing me to have to use more push with my arm instead of my legs. my footwork is consistent but i need to work on not turning my body after the shot. When i finish my shot it is in the perfect spot, my elbow finishes about chin level but i need to work on getting it higher.

Conclusion

In conclusion I have a good form but i need to work on my follow through and were i finish vertically and where i finish with my wrist after the release. I also have to better my power from my legs instead of my arms and i have to better my consistency and focus when shooting.

Christian's Shot Analysis

https://youtu.be/oZapsNHsnX0

Angle 1 (Straight on-under basket)

  • In my first shot, I could notice that my shooting hand goes sideways towards my guide hand whilst shooting the ball and that it goes to the right when following through. I believe that it affects my shot negatively because it could make the ball go sideways either left or right upon my release. Another thing I noticed was that my guide hand would come off upon my release, which would support my shooting hand but come off just in time so that it doesn't negatively affect my shot.

Angle 2 (From the back)

  • In this shot, I noticed that my guide hand slightly got in the way of my shooting motion and it caused the ball to go slightly off of my hand, making the shot go sideways. My hand finished high but it went towards my guide hand in the end. My elbow on my shooting hand was kind of sticking out as well. I need to work on being able to bring up the ball straight more consistently to avoid shooting the ball sideways.

Angle 3 (From the side)

  • In my final shot angle, I bent my knees and made sure my arm and toe were in line with the basket. My guide hand wasn't in the way of my shot this time and  I didn't finish as high with my shooting hand. I kept the ball near my shoulder but left enough space to be able to have a shooting window so that I can see the basket.

Things I need to work on

  • Being more consistent on bringing the ball up straight
  • Being more consistent on finishing high and making sure my guide hand doesn't in the way of my shot
  • Practice form shooting more often to develop muscle memory to provide a more comfortable and consistent feeling with my shot
  • Learn how to catch and shoot the ball in a fast and fluid motion

Nash shot analysis

Angle 1: Front view
From the first glance at my shot, I can see that I bring the ball up over my body when I could bring it up the outside of my body so my body doesn't interfere with my shot. As I release the ball I can that my elbow is sort of sticking out like a chicken wing which could affect how straight my shot is. After I release ball I can see my fingers are pointing down towards my foot. I could do a better job of leading with my index and middle finger so I have more control on my shot. I also notice that as I release the ball my elbow straightens out and finishes nice and high. When I'm bringing the ball up and just about to shoot my support hand lets go. I could do a better job of shooting with one hand as this could affect how much control I have over my shot.

Angle 2: Side View
Looking at my shot from the side, I notice a couple things. I do a good job of keeping the ball infront of my body and making a 90 degree angle with my arm. I could probably try to finish higher so I can become a better shooter against longer defenders. It's hard to tell if my wrist is cocked before the shot because I'm not receiving the ball via a pass but I can tell you that from past experience and other
people helping me with my shot, I can do a better job of cocking my wrist so make it a more smoother action. One thing I notice from this side angle is that my follow through is very quick. It almost seems like I am flicking my wrist too much which could affect my power and control. I want more of a nice smoother motion and release.

Angle 3: Rear view
Looking at my shot from the behind I can see that my off hand plays a big role in my shot. I do a great job of keeping it a 9 o'clock but fail to release it from the ball very quickly. From other people looking at my shot, they notice that on my pull-up my off hand starts to creep behind the ball so I start to shoot with two hands but very slightly. After release my off hand turns toward the outside of my body. This could means I'm being to reliant on that hand and giving it too much strength. This can cause the ball to either veer left or right(left in my case). At the end of my release I can see that I do a better job of releasing high than I first thought so that is something to be happy about.

Conclusion:
In conclusion I can say that my shot is not that bad. I can do a better job of releasing my off hand quicker so it doesn't affect my shot so much. I can also do a better job of widening my feet so I have a more balanced base. I would say that I do a good job of finishing high but need to control the ball more with my index and middle fingers. I didn't jump in the video but I can say that I need to use my legs more when I shoot, Late in games when I'm tired, I need to focus on using less arms and more legs.

Angle 1- front view

I bring the ball straight up on the shooting hand side of my body. my fingers were finished facing the rim after the ball was released from my hand. my elbow, knee and toes were all in a line with the basket. i released the ball at the right time and i finished high and straight.

Angle 2-Side view

i have y hand directly behind the ball until i go to shot when i bring the ball to low and my wrist and hand end up under the ball forcing my to push the ball instead of just releasing it. my off hand is at 9 o clock and it comes off the ball when i release it and it stays there and doesnt push the ball. i do release the ball with one hand but i pushed it instead of just releasing it.

Angle 3- Back view

my wrist is cocked and my footwork is consistent. i keep the ball at a good spot on my body keeping it inline with my arm and shoulder. after the ball is released, my elbow is above my right eye and straight on with the follow through towards the basket

Karl Calderon

https://youtu.be/EX0HuWlQRNo

Angle 1: From the Front

In my first shot, I noticed that my knee and my toe were in the same plane but my elbow was out making my shot goes more to the right. The ball was brought up straight with my fingers finishing down towards my foot. Before the release my guide hand that supports the ball came off in time giving my shooting hand the full control of the ball. My elbow finished above my eyes giving more arc to my shot.

Angle 2: From the Back

In this shot, I made sure that my toe, knee, hip, and elbow were in line, so the ball would just go straight. But I noticed that I didn't used enough legs, so I had to push the ball a little to get more power from my arm. My shooting hand was behind the ball with my offhand at 9 o'clock, I also noticed that I should start practicing with the shooting strap because after releasing the ball, my off hand would start rotating towards the ball giving my shot the tendency to go to the left.

Angle 3: From the Side

In my third shot, I noticed that my foot work in all three were very consistent, but it can be improved by keeping my foot in the same place so I can go into my shot much faster. The ball was kept in front  of my body with my elbow still out. Before the release my wrist was cocked back, making my shot hand directly behind the ball. Lastly my elbow was near my eyes giving my shot a good amount of arc.

-Things that need to be improved-

-Keeping my elbows in
-Using more legs so I don't have to get too much power from my arm
-Legs bent before the shot, so I can get a quicker release
-Fingers in the "cookie jar' for better arc.

Mo's Shot Analysis

Angle 1: In this angle for my shot, I am easily able to spot the clear mistakes I made. The ball was brought up straight however, it is slightly a bit too much on the ball hand side which can certainly be proved. During the shot I was sure that my elbow, knee and toe were in the same plane but due to the help of this video it was very to spot out that they are definitely not in the same plane with the elbow not aligned very well with the toes. From this angle I am happy to conclude, that my shooting fingers are pointing down towards my toes after finishing. My elbow finishes close to my eyes, although it can be concluded from this video that the elbow can finish more closer to the eyes. One of the things I've always taken pride in for my shot is that my off ball hand always comes off, however, the release of the off ball hand is too early.

Angle 2: This second angle was a well awakening shot for me because of the important aspects I am missing in my shot.  First things formal, I don't like the way in the video my two shooting fingers aren't in the middle of the ball which needs to be worked on. The 9 o'clock position of the off-hand is clearly there which I am content with. I released the ball with one hand which is certainly a positive to take from this angle. The off-hand is vertical at release but it can be improved by making it more straight. The off-hand is a bit rotated towards the ball which could result in not a straight shot or a shot with uncomfortable arc in the shot.

Angle 3: In this third and last angle, I certainly got into the shot very smoothly with knees and wrist cocked and ready to shoot allowing me to go into the shot much faster. The footwork is very consistent, but it can be improved by staying for on my toes to get a faster release and also spreading my feet a bit apart in order to achieve more balance while shooting. The ball is kept well in front of my body with nothing to criticize in that point of my shot. The shot release just like in the previous angles wasn't to well. To elaborate on this, when the ball is released, the elbows are not too near the eyes, where they should be in an ideal shot. The release of the shot has to be higher or even above the eyes. I lean also too back making it kind of an awkward motion when shooting, therefore the back has to be slightly less leaned back.

Conclusion - To conclude this analysis, it can easily be seen that in many areas of my shot improvement is much needed. My elbow, knee and toe have to be more on a straight plane, something I have to adapt and make a habit. When releasing my shot I have to work on having elbow finish  closer to my eyes. I have to make sure that I am not shooting more with just one hand because consistently in the videos my off-hand comes of the ball a bit too early cause an off balance shot. I must also work on the off-hand's positioning when the shot is released by  working  on not having the hand point towards the ball. The balance when shooting has to be worked on by doing little things like spreading my feet a bit more apart and not leaning too back while shooting. These are improvements that I can make in order to become a shooter with consistent form.

Gabie's Shot Analysis

https://youtu.be/WoHh7ryVty8

Angle 1:

In my shot, the ball isn't brought up straight, I bring the ball my left slightly then I go up. Even though I do this, my elbow, finger and knee are aligned in a straight line when I shoot the basketball, and when I shoot my fingers are pointing to my toes my follow-thru is at a good height. During my release my off hand comes off the ball so that it doesn't interfere with my shot.

Angle 2:

In my second shot, my hand is directly behind the basketball and my off hand is located at 9 o' clock of the basketball. When I release the ball, my off hand comes off and I shoot with one hand. My off  hand is vertical at release this would mean that I would have good rotation when shooting.

Angle 3:
In the last angle, I noticed that my hand is not cocked before the release. In the video you cannot see my legs due to a poor camera man, In my personal experience my footwork is consistent, sometimes I need to hop to set my feet in the proper position. The basketball goes back when I cock the ball, the ball should always be in front of the basketball. When I release  the basketball, my elbows are above my eyes giving me good ark.

Conclusion:

I have multiple things to improve on. I need to shoot on a straight plane and not bring the ball to my left. And I shouldn't bring the ball back when I release. These are the things to improve in order to become a better shooter.
