Angle 1:
The ball was brought straight up on the shooting hand side, but my fingers and elbow weren't in the same plane as knee and toe. My shooting fingers finished pointing down towards my forward foot and my wrist was bending. My elbow didn't finish neither near nor above my eyes so I need to work on my elbow. My off hand came off the ball just before release but I think I pushed a little.
Angle 2:
The shooting has directly behind the ball with the two shooting fingers in the middle but my wrist went other way which means it bended. My off hand was at 9 o'clock. The ball was released with one hand. The off hand was rotating towards the ball which means I shot by my arm power.
Angle 3:
The wrist was cocked before the release and the footwork was consistent and the ball was kept in front of the body. When the ball was released my elbows were above my eyes
Conclusion:
From these shot I could know that I need to improve/ fix these things.
- don't let my wrist bend to right
- I need let not to push by hands
- I need to shot by my fingers
- also I need to jump higher
Hi Mai, your overall formation is really good and the things i noticed are in your conclusion so at least you know what you need to improve. The two main things i noticed was when you release he ball, your hand goes off to the side and you should bend your knees more so you're not using all arms. other than that you have nice formation!
ReplyDeleteHey, Mai, your shot looks really good! I agree that you should fix the wrist bend, that would help straighten out your shot. I also think that you should only jump if you really need to (and being tall that is not too often), but it would definitely help you shoot over a block. When you do decide to jump, jump high, and jump UP. Jumping forward would totally mess up your awesome form.
