Angle 1: Straight on- Camera under
basket.
- Is the ball brought straight up on the shooting hand side?- Yes.
- Are finger, elbow, knee and toe in the same plane?- My elbow
is pointed outwards and isn’t lined with everything else.
- Do the shooting fingers finish pointing down towards your forward
foot?- Kind of
- Does your elbow finish near or above your eyes?- Near the eyes.
- Does the off- hand come of the ball just
before release?-Yes.
Angle
2: Rear View- Camera is directly behind shooter.
- Is the shooting had directly behind the ball with the two shooting
fingers in the middle? -Yes
- Is the off-hand at 9 or 3 o’clock? -3 o’clock.
- Is the ball released with one-hand?-Yes.
- Is the off-hand vertical at release? Or
is it rotated towards the ball? What would this mean?- For that shot it was rotated towards the ball. When your hands

wrist cocked before the release? - Yes
- Is the
footwork consistant?- Yes
- Is the ball
kept in front of the body? -Yes

When the ball is released are the
elbows near or above the eyes? -Above
the eyes.
Three things that I need to improve on
is, getting my elbow lined with my, fingers, knee, and toe. Also keeping my
hand offhand vertical when I take my shot. And making sure my fingers are
pointed towards my foot after the shot.
Hi Niners, I think you should have your dominant foot lined up with the hoop because your elbow, knee and dominant hand should be in the same plane so if your dominant foot is properly lined up than it should all be lined up. Also another thing that you mentioned is keeping your offhand vertical but you realized that. overall you have a nice shot!
ReplyDeleteHi Nina. I thought that you need to keep your offhand vertical but you realized so i agree with that. And i noticed that you need to jump higher when you take a normal shot. Anyway your shooting hand's formation was perfect.
